The survey

“How can I be helpful in times of loss?”

When friends lose loved ones, we say “I don’t know what to say.” I wrote a book about what I say

But I want to learn what people actually find helpful, what people remember. I decided to ask what helps in times of loss, and built a 10-minute survey, with some questions about you, your loved one, and what people did and said that was helpful.

Taking this survey could be hard, as you remember the deaths you’ve known. But your reflection can help other people get the support and comfort they need.
